hair wars

My daughter hates to brush her hair and it pisses me off because I always have to hear the whinning ___over and over again when she starts to have hair on its way to dreadville, minus the beezwax.  well, today, I just had it. I brushed the dreaded hair out placed it in a pony tail and cut it off. then I stuck it on her wall as a reminder of what happens when you don't brush your hair.
Is that mean?  I have warned her plenty of times at least 25 times.
